I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Design-Build Project- PQM, Inc. is the Design Quality Manager on this $740M Design-Build project. The Project is located in a fully developed urban basin within the City of Los Angeles, a hilly terrain and a sensitive environment. There are 27 bridge modifications and replacements; nine miles of retaining wall; numerous utility relocations; and city street improvements required to provide the highway improvements. PQM prepared the Design Quality Management Plan to meet the contract requirements, and streamline the internal and external review process. We implemented the program, provide training for more than 200 people, and 15 sub-consultants working on the project; implemented the plan, conducted surveillance of over 500 submittals monitor the plan over a 14 month period.
